Was so so so happy to find and travel out of the area for OG Chef Mike. Ribs and steak was amazing! Also got the wings and schnitzel with their famous creamy garlic sauce, but didn't get any photos because I was too excited to eat. Portions, service and price was great. Cannot wait to come back!

Steaks are perfect 95% of the time. The other 5% is when the meat didn’t get to room temp before being put on the grill. The key is to get there during ‘normal’ feeding hours. The chips are crispy on the outside, tender on the inside and serving is generous. Desserts are nice too. Service is tops, they are very welcoming here. Tables and the area are kept clean too.

The food is great at Papa Bear’s. Big size meals for great prices. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The variety of menu items is impressive. There’s an ATM in the pub as it’s cash only at Papa Bear’s; drinks are purchased from the pub bar also. There’s off street parking and more parking available at the station across the road.

Surprisingly good foods. But Ambiance not so good. Male Toilet not maintained. Stinks. Reasonable pricing. Customer service good. Easy Street parking Or nearby train station parking

For those in the know, these are the original Fatmans owners so you know that the food is top notch for reasonable prices Classic bistro/pub food with twists here and there (eg Mexican style schnitzel!)
